VIOLIN MUSEUM TURNS TEN YEARS OLD

Il Museo del Violino, a partner of Le Dimore del Quartetto in numerous activities supporting talent and enhancing the value of violin making, turns ten and celebrates its tenth anniversary with an extraordinary program of events: from September to December, the concert hall of the Violin Museum will, in fact, be the stage for a series of exceptional occasions dedicated to stringed instruments.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary Museo del Violino, which opened to the public in September 2013 and has since consolidated its position as an exhibition center of international resonance, two concerts are scheduled, each featuring two world premiere compositions specially created for the occasion.

On the tenth anniversary day itself, Thursday, September 14, 2023, there will be a “Concert for Peace” featuring the extraordinary participation of Russian violinist Ksenia Milas and Ukrainian violinist Oleksandr Semchuk.

On Saturday, September 30, the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium will host the return of Alessandro Quarta, who will perform the opera “The 5 Elements.”
